I don’t write for After Hours, I just do some of the illustrations. And you can’t really call what I do for my own comics “drawing.” And if you look closely at Dr. McNinja, you’ll see I only really use two colors (green and pistachio). Getting things done is all about cutting corners.
This is the 4th comic on nedroid’s website (http://nedroid.com/2006/02/2008-hoops/), the first comic to contain Beartato (that we know of) and when I met Anthony Clark at Emerald City Comicon I asked him one simple question:
Why did Beartato’s house burn down? WELL FEAR NOT AS THE TERRIBLE SECRET IS REVEALED IN THIS EXCLUSIVE REVELATION!
Now everything makes sense… forever.

Chris and I get along really well! I think it’s because we share a similar sense of humor. It’s easy to work on Dr. McNinja because I genuinely like the comic; it’s a comic I would read even if I weren’t involved in it. Also it’s sometimes nice to have someone else make all the decisions and I just have to execute them.
