“@nedroid: Turns out the cat I thought had run away was just hiding under the couch all day. EVEN THOUGH I LOOKED THERE”
I believe this is indeed what happened

Many years ago, when I was but a wee lad, a friend and I were hanging out and saying nonsense words, as kids are wont to do. One of the words my friend made up was “nedroid,” and I thought it was a funny word, so I stole it for my own use.
Later on, I drew a series of comics featuring a character called “Nedroid.” Then I used it as my screen name when I first got on the internet, and it just stuck with me. I use it because it is unique and searching for it usually leads directly to my stuff, or at least it did until recently when some Japanese thing with a similar name started to exist and it irritates me to no end.

This is a tumblr where I post art and comics that I draw. I reblog BACK because I draw it. Is this not clear? I thought it was clear but maybe other people don’t realize this either.
You’re free to unfollow for whatever reason you want, of course. You don’t have to send me a message about it, though.

I did not know this was even an option! Tumblr is a cave of secrets.

Because there’s too much stuff! I can’t even keep track of all the pictures I’ve uploaded over the years.
I like the idea of having different places for different types of stuff. It’s very easy to post a quick drawing to Tumblr compared to uploading it to my main site and making a post for it. I also kind of like the idea that not everything is permanently available; then if it does pop up again later, people can be surprised!

It is a robot. It is this guy: http://nedroid.com/shopimages/autumnstroll.jpg

This is the 4th comic on nedroid’s website (http://nedroid.com/2006/02/2008-hoops/), the first comic to contain Beartato (that we know of) and when I met Anthony Clark at Emerald City Comicon I asked him one simple question:
Why did Beartato’s house burn down? WELL FEAR NOT AS THE TERRIBLE SECRET IS REVEALED IN THIS EXCLUSIVE REVELATION!

Now everything makes sense… forever.
This is canon
It’s been a while since I’ve finished a plush; been busy and held back by winter but here’s my latest project: Reginald from Nedroid! I think he turned out really damn well actually due to his simplistic design.
The gimmick this time is his Dare Master jacket he wore in a couple of strips. I think I really did the emblem on the back well. It was my first time making separate clothes for a plush so I messed up a little by making it too small, but that’s ok because I just sewed him into it. Not like I was going to have a reason to remove it.
I think I’ll make a Beartato too sometime soon.
Date of creation: FEB 2017This is great!
